2008 Triumph Bonneville Black Edition

SOLD    SOLD    SOLD

This bike is being offered for sale by the original owner.  Bevel Heaven owner Steve Allen will be handling all aspects of this transaction on behalf of the gentleman who owns it.  Steve has known Tom for about a decade and can and does attest to his honesty and care he puts into his machines.  He has come to the conclusion that he can no longer ride safely so at 70 years old he is going to hang up his helmet and sell his machines..

The bike is in very good condition, almost perfect, for a bike that has been ridden, albeit for only 9811 miles...   The bike has never tipped over, has a clean California title and current CA registration.  Below is the text that the owner has provided pertaining to this bike.

****************

I purchased this motorcycle new in 2008. It has proven to be a very good, reliable bike, and were it not for my 70th birthday and a neurologic disease, I would not sell it.

The machine is as new and has a number of desirable factory options as well. These add a custom look to the piece without excessive chrome. The factory tank bag is sleek and practical, while the rear cowl is stylish and does not disrupt the sporting lines. I felt the original exhaust system was woefully subdued, after installing the third set of slip on mufflers I found what I was looking for...the traditional Triumph look with the classic, robust but not raucous sound, so important in completing the picture.

The other two exhaust systems go with the bike, by the way. Original Peashooter/ Modified/ British Customs (rejetted) 'The Predator'

I firmly believe that this is a better buy than a new cycle since the machine is largely finished, has low mileage, a history of reliability and looks exemplary.

This bike is located in Concord, California and is offered at $5,875.00 USD.  Sold As Is / Where Is with a clear California title. No warranty expressed or implied etc etc.

Notes from Steve:  The bike has a pair of real nice Triumph branded bar end mirrors installed, the factory Triumph branded tank bag look to be of very high quality, the solo seat + cowl you see is a factory item, the original seat is included of course, and a Triumph bikini fairing is installed as you see in the photos.  All records, receipts etc from new are in a folder and will be included. The bike was purchased new at Munroe Motors in San Francisco, they did the original prep and assembly, and first tune ups, then Ace Motorsports in Concord have maintained it since then. Both dealerships are certified Triumph dealers.  The stock silencers as well as another pair that Tom bought but didn't like the sound or look of are also included, both in perfect condition.

There are only 9811 miles on the bike.  I starts up immediately, sounds and looks great, rides great etc...  It is a like new machine.  I had a talk with Ace Motorsports and they are very familiar with the machine, they told me I should be asking $6900, what they would put it up for in their dealership...  We want to sell it quick for Tom so are only asking $5875 / best offer.....

The tires could stand to be replaced (although there is plenty of meat still there) as they are the originals and now just over 4 years old.  You buy this bike and I'll set you up with a new set of tires at a 10% discount off MSRP if you pick them up from me here.
