This
special edition Sport Classic was produced in limited numbers as
a tribute to the original green-frame 750SS, and is a
wonderfully ride-able collector’s bike. Distinctive features
include Ohlins suspension, high pipes, glorious green frame
paint and silver metallic bodywork, stunning spoked alloy
wheels, specially developed retro-look Pirelli tires, and
polished aluminum upper triple clamp. This is by far the best
riding Ducati I have owned, controls are light, weight, balance,
steering, suspension and brakes make riding like telepathy.
This is
not a wooden duc. I bought this bike for street use after
spending the previous several years riding two strokes on the
track, but have never really been able to enjoy sport riding on
public roads after being spoiled on the track…I am a 42-year-old
engineer and hate to see machines sit, so it’s time to find a
new home.
