1977 Ducati 900ss Track Bike

I bought this bike 10ys ago out of a large collection. It was a already a race prepped bike. The rear loop has been cut out and many period weight saving mods have been made. This has been my track bike for years. it is a correct 77 900ss with all the goodies. Front rim is a Borrani 4777 3/2.5 18 & the rear rim is a DID 3.50 x 18 - engine # 086287 dm860.

* All fresh fluids + new battery = 1 kick start and purrs like a kitten.....

The frame number was (possibly?) cut and welded over and just the first and last numbers are able to be seen (see image detail below). Carbs are Dellorto 40 as/ad. I added an aftermarket ignition system to help with high rpm. The prior owner installed a round case cover with remote oil lines to the cam covers also has a remote spin off oil filter. The bike is right side shift with GP pattern.  The pipes are arc fab custom (thanks leslie) before he quit making pipes bike sounds great.

Please look at all the pictures closely to see all the parts and racing mods on this bike. This is a fast track bike that has provided me years of safe fast fun track days. This will make a great AHRMA battle of the twins bike (just need to add oil catch pan).  The bike has been stored for the last 2 years in a climate controlled garage and has been at many USdesmo track days  .

It will be sold on a bill of sale with all the prior paper work I have.  Rear works shocks set for 200lb, front springs are progressive.
