1982 DUCATI SD900 "Darmah"
for sale
SOLD
This is a 1982 Ducati
SD900 Darmah, one of the rarer ones produced with blue paint. There are
only 10,194 kilometers (6,334 miles) on this well preserved bike. It
starts right up and runs very well, pulls hard and the brakes stop it
quickly. This bike is in great shape.
Just under 6000 Darmahs
were produced between 1977 & 1982. Only 317 Darmahs were produced in
1982, and none of these were imported directly into the US market....
This explains the KPH speedometer. These last year Darmahs were mostly
available in the typical black and gold colors but there were a very few
that came in this beautiful dark blue, gunmetal grey and a maroon color.
Details:
Recent additions include; Conti mufflers, Sachse electronic
ignition, Dellorto PHF36 carbs, K&N air filters, new front
Brembo master cylinder, rebuilt rear Brembo master cylinder and
calipers, Galfer brake hoses, Motul RBF600 brake fluid, Brancato
extended clutch arm, Electrixworld RR51 voltage regulator, Avon
Roadrider tires, 520 chain & sprocket conversion, new wheel
bearings, fresh oil and filter, Works custom shocks and dual
rate fork spring kit, new AGM battery as of yesterday etc.
This was 1 of my bikes that I purchased around 1999 and after
getting it running and enjoying it a bit etc, I sold it on to a
local gentleman back in 2005. He sat on it for years but decided
he wanted to ride the bike, making all the above modifications
since Covid hit. A few months ago he decided it was time to hang
up his helmet so I purchased it back from him. I went through
everything to make sure everything works; hi/low beam, blinkers,
tail light, brake light, horn, tuned/sync'd carbs etc and here
it is ready to go.
The bike is road worthy and currently registered and titled in
the owner of Bevel Heaven's name here in California so there
will be zero surprises doing a title transfer & registering or
for international buyers, it is ready for export.
