2008 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 "S"
Original Owner - 1514 miles only

This is a 1 owner, like new, Ducati Hypermotard driven only 1514 miles since new.

The original owner passed away & it has sat covered up in his garage, last registered in 2013. His widow has transferred the title into her name and asked me to sell it for her so last week I went and picked it up along with the stock items removed and brought it back to my shop so that I could bring it back to life.

Clear California title with non-op California registration. New owner will not have any surprises when transferring title etc.

Below is a list of the things I did to this super clean as-new motorcycle;

• Installed new DUCATI branded cam timing belts

• Installed new AGM battery

• Flushed brake fluid in brakes & clutch with Motul DOT 5.1 fluid

• New Motul 7100 15w50 full synthetic motor oil

• New Athena oil filter

• Disassembled "RUN/OFF - Start" switch, cleaned and reassembled

• wiped / cleaned bike, waxed all painted surfaces

The 'S' version Hypermotard means it came from the factory in 2008 with Marchesini forged wheels, Ohlins shock, black nitride coated Marzocchi fork sliders, Brembo M4 radial brake calipers with radial pump master cylinders, & carbon fiber bits here and there including front fender, rear seat / exhaust cover and fork slider protectors. The owner then added a carbon fiber rear tire hugger, carbon fiber gas tank top, Ducati Performance gel seat, & steering damper.

Everything works on this bike. I rode it around the block to test clutch, brakes, shifting etc. without a hitch. Blinkers, dash unit, horn, headlight HI/LOW works as expected.  Buyer should expect to replace the original tires that are on it before riding with any vigor as they carry a 2007 build date.

I have described this 17 year old motorcycle to the best of my knowledge & ability. This bike offered "as-is / where-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. CASH, Zelle or we can go to your bank together (if there is a branch in Concord) and your bank can hand me a cashiers check.  If you are an out of state or an international buyer and/or unable to come see this bike in person, we can work out terms & you pay a (non refundable) $1500 deposit via PayPal or Zelle, then you can do a bank transfer or Zelle payment for the remaining amount due.

NOTE: Concord is a 45min drive from SFO airport or 1.25 hour BART ride from SFO.  If you choose to fly in to have a look, Steve can pick you up from the N. Concord/Martinez BART station and take you to it - by arrangement of course, then take you back to the BART station so you can easily get back to SFO and fly back out same day.  After we work out a deal on the bike, Steve can arrange shipping for you via Daily Direct motorcycle shippers.
