I'm not at home right now and won't be for another three weeks, so I can't check in person but I phoned home and my son confirms the numbers. These contis are the same as those on my 79 SSD (picture attached) and there is no circle around the word Conti. I seem to remember checking the part numbers when I got the bike and they match to the upgrade spec available from Ducati for the SSD (40mm carbs, inlets manifolds and contis) The two exhaust pipes are 0755.84.105 and 0755.84.100 as stated in Ian Falloons restoration book.

The bike has had many previous owners but the last guy owned it for over 10 years and said the pipes were on when he got it. If they are not real contis they certainly sound like them.  hope this helps, regards Rob    [email protected]
