This is a 1966 Ducati 350 Sebring, but as
you can see it is not a stock bike. In this restoration ONLY Ducati parts
and NOS parts for the motor and tranny from Domi Racer were used. As many
of you well know the stock '66 350 Sebring had the ugly squarish fenders,
tank, and headlight. In this restoration was used all the best looking
parts of the era, the smooth valanced fenders, the big beautifull tank,
and round headlight. As you can see in the picture it also has a racing
single seat on it. I searched for the right shaped seat for a long time as
I wanted just the right shaped curve to go with the bike. I am sure you
will agree that it looks great. I also have the original two person seat
that goes with it. Also, the muffler is not original, but a sportier one
from Domi Racer that looks and sounds great. The original Silentium
muffler also comes with the bike.
Now to the details. The bike is professionally painted in Ducati red and
metallic silver. There are over 6000 miles on the original odometer, but I
have put only an easy 150 miles on it since complete restoration including
the motor and tranny. The motor and tranny are flawless as any part that
was not perfect was replaced with NOS pieces. This bike is truly
"turn key and kick". It utilizes the stock 6 volt electrical
system for originality sake as I have found it works very well and is not
difficult to get parts for. It has brand new points, condenser, plug,
regulator, rectifier and battery. All the lights work and it charges
correctly. The tires were new and have less than 200 miles on them. Like I
said, It uses only Ducati parts (NO repros) and is turn key ready to ride
or show off and comes with spares and other parts. Everything works on
this bike and is in proper state on tune. I believe that this bike is more
beautiful than any original Ducati of the time and I think you will too.
The reason I am selling is, because I want to buy another duck. You will
not be disappointed.
If you have any questions about the bike or wish for more pictures please
e-mail me and I will reply promptly.
