Frame# 754683, Engine# 755010, Odometer; 18597

Professionally restored at 18293 miles by Steve Munro of Loudbike. Complete disassembly for inspection and restoration. Engine rebuilt by Gerry McDermott of McDermott Brothers Racing. Gerry is the Technical Inspection Coordinator for the Ducati Owners Club of Canada. Low mileage engine but sat idle for 24 years and condition was unknown.

DETAILS:

  • Found ~15% load in crank traps

  • Shim crankshaft

  • Replace clutch inner spacer

  • Borgo std. ring set

  • 4 valve guides and seals

  • Re-work valve seats

  • Rocker arms and shim

  • Restore and total rebuild Delorto PHF30 carbs

  • New intake manifold insulators

  • K&N air filter set & oil breather filter, Malossi fuel filters

  • Stator remanufactured with rare earth magnets at Road and Race, Australia.

  • Dyna S ignition and 5ohm coils, leads & boots

  • Correct dummy condenser plugs and stainless points cover posts.

  • New finned exhaust nuts.

  • Conti new original round case muffler set.

  • All frame pieces stripped and powder coated black at RLD

  • New steering head bearings

  • New Marzocchi steering damper, knob

  • Modify steering stops

  • Marzocchi forks rebuilt and new seals

  • New Works fork springs

  • Restore and rebuild front brake caliper and master cylinder

  • New front brake line and rear brake cable

  • Resurface rotor and drum.

  • New rubber seat bumpers

  • Lo-pro handlebar and mirror

  • Restore and test speedometer & tach at Stewart-Warner by Gord
