1978 Ducati 900 SS,
BOTT Racer
- SOLD -
Converted to road
racer and campaigned in the mid-to-late 80’s, Daytona, Savannah, etc.
Easily configured for AHRMA Vintage Superbike class. Very special
NCR monoshock frame, originally built ( I was told) for the MHR series
bikes. M1R Marzocchi front forks, with very nice aftermarket
aluminum fork brace. Custom made aluminum rear brake rotor. Upgraded
front brake master cylinder. Expanded to 1000CC. Jerry Branch
modified heads. HD clutch. Twin plug, total loss ignition system.
Set-up, and
custom exhaust system by Syd’s Cycles. MHR style tail section. Also have
original SS tail section and side panels. EPM wheels, also have spoke
wheels laced to DID rims. Also have original 900SS frame ( modified ),
including braced swingarm.
Very quick. Not
perfect, but nice. Very well cared for. Hate to let it go, but basement
has become too crowded. Can provide additional photographs.
